Pedro Martinez Seriously Injured in Windsor Pedestrian Crash

Windsor, California (January 25, 2017) – According to an article by the Press-Democrat, a Windsor man was hospitalized Tuesday evening with serious injuries following an auto versus pedestrian crash in Windsor.

The serious injury accident occurred at about 6:45 p.m. when a Dodge pickup, driven by Hector Hernandez, 59, of Windsor, struck Pedro Martinez, 22, of Windsor at the intersection of Old Redwood Highway and Third Street.

According to the article, Martinez was in a crosswalk crossing Old Redwood at the time of the collision. He suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Hernandez remained at the scene after the crash.

The incident remained under investigation.
