Modesto, CA:  Nichole Martinez, 36, Dies in Briggsmore Avenue Single-Vehicle Crash

Modesto, California (January 18, 2017) – Nichole Martinez, 36, of Chowchilla was killed Sunday night after the vehicle she was driving in crashed in Modesto, according  to a police report.

The according to the report, the accident occurred approximately 10:00 p.m. on East Briggsmore Avenue near Coffee Road.

Reportedly, Kaleb Isley, 35, of Modesto was driving a Chevrolet Corvette, approaching Coffee Road and was stopped at a red light. Immediately the light turned green, Kaleb took off and lost control of the vehicle.  The car crashed into a tree injuring Kaleb and his passenger Nichole Martinez.

Martinez was transported to a hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.  Kaleb suffered head injuries which were described as non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
